Sizing & Measurements

General

  • Wedding dresses and other bridal attire almost never runs true to the standard sizing conventions most shoppers are familiar with.
  • To determine your size range, we take your bust, waist and hip measurements and compare these against the brand Size Chart, to make your gown.
  • You can specify your measurements during the checkout process, with our manager or when visiting one of our boutique.
  • If you do choose to purchase something outside of your typical size, don't forget that it is always better to purchase a gown in a larger size rather than a smaller size. It's always easier to make a gown smaller in alteration process.

How to take your Measurements

All gowns are designed with little complications for alterations if necessary and dress hems can be easily adjusted by your trusted seamstress at your expense. But, you still need to accurately determine your measurements. Our article will help you with.

Shipping & Delivery

Timeframes

  • There can be quite a lot of variation between designers, but our typical order-paid-to-ship-date is about 16-18 weeks. Now this does not mean you can count back 4 months from your wedding date and set that as the latest date you can order your dress.
  • The best time to decide on the gown is at minimum eight months out. That way you have time for shipping and alterations. If you don't have all that time and you've started a little late, that's okay.
  • All of the wedding dresses in our inventory are ready for immediate shipment. Unless otherwise noted, we will ship your wedding dress or accessories within 3-5 business days of receipt of payment.
  • All international orders are sent via Canada Post, UPS Express or DHL which takes between 3-14 business days to arrive. Our Dispatch team will send you tracking information so you can track your package.

Shipping Cost

  • Shipping costs are calculated individually based on your delivery destination.
  • Depending on your destination, you can expect to spend between $50 and $1,000 shipping your dress.

Ordering & Payments

General

  • Your measurements must be provided at the time of purchase to ensure we meet the delivery deadline.
  • Your gown will be dispatched approximately 2-4 weeks before your wedding date if you will not add another delivery date for your order.

Timeframes

  • Dress timelines differ dramatically, but most brides can safely expect their gowns to arrive within four to six months of ordering. Custom dresses may take longer, however. Many designers follow a basic pattern for ordering and shipping, so loose estimates are possible.
  • If your wedding is between 10 weeks and 4 months away, certain styles can be fast-tracked through production for an additional priority fee.
  • If you have a tight deadline to buy a wedding dress look for sample sales or purchase off the rack.
  • Your tailor could make other special alterations depending on your size, the dress's current size in question, and its peculiarity. It may take 3-7 days.

Payments and Fees

  • If you're buying a ready-to-wear gown, you'll most likely have to pay the full amount up front. If, however, you're purchasing a pre-order wedding dress, you'll need to pay a deposit and then the full amount before alternations start.
  • In addition to cash, Ana Koi Bridal has payment options: e-transfer and credit card, to help you purchase your product. Pick the method that works for you.
